Re: Seagate AFH
Just had a case here...decided to go back and finish trying a resource I already had to autogenerate a script too. H2 read slow for the first 1% and pretty much not at all after that. After the increase of 20 for RHtClr, hitting speeds over 100MB, with some bad zones along the way. Still can't get the full MFT with the one head in the higher LBA's, might need another boost of 10 or 20. We'll see.
Re: Seagate AFH
...had to add another 20 to get the higher LBA's. The first 20 helped improve the first 5-10%.

So I'm sure that it will be implemented in PC-3000 in near future.
Sir ,
Go Through The Posts Below Many People Have Had Success ,This is a Function That Should Be Implemented ,It Does Not Work On Clicking Drives But On Drives Were One Head Is Dead , Procedure is Dangerous On Non Native Heads As There is Always a Deviation in Fly Height Due To Mismatched Torgue Levels

Re: Seagate AFH
I have a Seagate ST1000LM035 SMR drive. That after head swapping runs smoothly without any problems up until it encounters a bad sector. The drive tries to read it without skipping and that make the drive clicks so bad. After turning the drive on and off the drive can read through that bad sector and keep on going reading. However after 3-4 times like that the Heads becomes dead and the drive stops working. Make me to swap new pair of heads again/
Will AFH help me in this case. I just need to adjust the height enough for the drive stops clicking and skipping the bad

Re: Seagate AFH
I've had good results with adjusting AFH and rosewood drives, however only when getting moldy sectors (invalid data). I've not had it work on any heads that clicked yet.
