I am trying to read SA from this drive but the PC3000 keeps reporting an error. This drive seems to be working fine.

patch fw - write patched ROM - repower - provide handshake reply. All these steps were followed?

I did follow the steps but should have tried it a few more times. I was not able to get the terminal to read the board ROM. It took me about 5 times before it was able to read to read the ROM. I am not sure if it was my port connection or the drive or that the board’s read channel needs to be jumped first.
