As you guys know, sometimes CPU in monolith storage device can be workable and did not allow us to get the data from NAND core. It happened when CPU for some reason, block access to NAND core and return 00 00 00 or other pattern in sectors instead the real data.
In this situation voltage control can be helpful - if we will decrease voltage to 3.2 - 2.7V (with the step of 0.05V)we would be able to turn controller off. But sometimes, controller become still workable even with low voltage. In this case we recommend to... physically destroy the cpu in monolith!
P.S. OFFTIPICK Here is a funny picture - I remove the compound layer from the front side of microsd, and get the crystal of NAND chip. Not sure, but looks like controller situated deeper in up side of the MicroSD
