What family is the WD5000LPCX-22VHAT0?

1. Is it not possible to auto detect the family when using the PC3K over USB?
2. What family is the WD5000LPCX-22VHAT0?
3. Can the resources be backup up through USB connection?

To know the family, check module C5.
You can read modules by USB if the drive is healthy or use terminal cable connected to the PCB.

Yes I'm dealing with healthy drives. What utility are you suggesting I used to read the modules? I do not intend to open the enclosure as it is completely rubberized. (So no terminal access)

You just plug it to USB and choose WD USB on PC3K utility.
It will work as sata WD.

To open the utility you need to choose a family....

Choose any family.
That you can read the C5 module and see the family.

osity, most possibly it is HUBLT2, it is not presented in PC-3000 for now. You can work with it using Hubble LT family.
