Kingston 16 GB microSD HC SDCS

Postby MHS-Solutions » 12.11.25, 16:59

Number on SD:

B0664-004.A00LFTS

It is the micro SD Type 44,
so I have the pinout and everything is connected well with the spider board.

I have connected VCC (3,6V-1,8V) and ground at the interface.

But it's not possible to read the id of the sdcard,
any idea?

if id is 0x0000 check pin, sincerly i prefer solder pin, because spider In my opinion it is only suitable for MSDs with very large pads.

Now the connection problem is solved,
but it's a unrecognized chip:

ID: 0xAE391803 0050AE39

Any idea about the reading parameters?

I just tried to define them by my own now and now I'm reading the dump.

u can try set manual, probably id have some caracterc wrong, but if u read good part of chip, id wrong it is not a problem.

Thank you very much, I've tried different page sizes and read the dump.
But ECC is not detected and I'm also not able to find a fitting XOR, any advice?

which is a pinout? 44 is a model of pc3000 database? which is a flash sofware version? i think that correct id is 0xAD3a1803

Yes exactly, the type 44 is in the database, I've used the pinout from there and it worked.

I'm using v9.1.7.

I will try the settings from id 0xAD3a1803, thanks!

Your hint really helped me, with the settings for the 0xAD3A1803 I was able to read a dump where at least any XOR was found with the analysis.

I've applied ASMedia BLK=384 PG=1843 (1152x16) AF9E02 where most headers were found,
but they are very rare.

Here's a picture:
https://ibb.co/9Hc1pwfj

Checked size is also much less than page size as we see.

Further tried transformations did not improve the result as far I've tried (split by block, join ..., rotation, ...).
And also, I still was never able to detect any ECC so far.

Do you have another advice?

paste photo of trasformation that u apply, usually this chip found ecc after xor, u try solutions in database? I need to check, if you want we can organize it and I'll connect remotely to take a look.

No ECC after XOR :(, yes this would be really great if you would do this?
