I've got this ST500LT012 with no access to terminal.

It detects Model, S/N Fw but shows 3.86 GB
I need to reach access to terminal to go further.

I have a copy of ROM
FW is 1003YAM1

I try to short pins, but no success at all.

do you have any advices for me ? same FW perhaps ?

What can I check in ROM ?

Looks like bad read/write heads to me. I'd start with fixing that.

Hi, I check heads visually, but I don't see anything wrong.
I recieve donnor in few days, I will see...
