Patient has 2 heads. H0 is dead but H1 works so I imaged all of it. After head swap, drives starts up with just "Rst 0x10M" in terminal and then eventually gives the error below after trying anything.

I get full ID except for the capacity which shows 0 MB (). Drive stays spinning with DRD DRC. I am able to quickly view CTRL-X report but don’t see any errors.

CfwDiscCode Not Loaded: 0002A485
LED:000000BC FAddr:00004264

If i put in original patient heads again, this error goes away and I get FULL ID, access to SA and user area again.

I tried 3 donors so far and all had matching preamps.
I read elsewhere that uploading overlays, 0x0100 snd 0x0101 solves the error above, but the drive won’t allow it with Donor heads.

Does anyone know what’s going on here?

my experience:
Last time I struggeld with one on this hard disks. I changed the head 2-3 times, no results. I puted the original head back and got an ID .
So in utility don't turn off the original hard disk and use the standby mode. unscrew pcb, carefully swap the heads and screw the board back on. Then check the hard drive behaviour.
may it works this way.
