Need Rom Torando 2D and same f/w version 5800A0

Hello, first post on here.

I need to obtain a Rom file for Tornado 2D and same f/w version 5800A0.

here what one of the ace techs told me:

Necessary to find compatible donor SA resources.
Same family name Torando 2D and same f/w version 5800A0
Then write this donor's ROM with block SA access thru the terminal, repower the drive and check drive's behavior.
Unfortunately we haven't such compatible firmware.

went to donor drive with this info and got this donor.

WD3200AAKS-75VYA0, 2061-701444-700 AD, WD SATA 3.5 PCB

Specifications
Model: WD3200AAKS-75VYA0
PCB Sticker: 2061-701444-700 AD
PWB: 2060-701444-004 REV A

Donor drives wants me to send it in...which i really don't want to do and they will not sell me an exact donor for whatever reason. Not sure if there is some stockpile of old rom files other then hddguru? any help or direction is appreciated other then...yeah send the drive to me ill take a look....lol.

But for the future a great resource for firmware if the HDDSurgery firmware database.

They have 12 of the exact FW you need.
Just type in the FW in the search box and it will find it automatically.
It is rare they do not have what you need.

A Dane for the Win! Thanks man that was super fast. I have to ask how long does it take to have a decent library of Rom files? Is it a few years or is it more like a decade? by the way cool looking office ..unless that is your home? which is awesome! Appreciate it!

Thanks as well my American friend! I have a group of old training drives form 15 years of a tech support business and im finding that it is a bit more leg work then originally thought. Wow a forum that is helpful! reminds me of how the old BBS's used to be.
