wd my cloud 1 disk encrypted

Hello i have this disk wd my cloud home 4tb one disk
in this disk there is structure ext4 and all files is encrypted
reading on forum i found this possible solution

but when i modify python script with imac and i run script, exit message error open database

has anyone already worked with the wd mycloud home and can you help me?

i try with ubuntu and mac but not fuction, maybe with my wd not fuction
