Sandisk Ultra microSD 32GB

Postby jerovsek » 08.06.20, 07:03

Hello,

I try to recover files from this card. If I try to read with PC3000 SD adapter, I can recover some files with row recovery, but all files are corruped.
When I try to recover with spiderboard, pinout check is OK, but when I try to read ID I receive R/B fail error.
Pinout for this card is 4x6 type 2

Any sugegstion

Thank you

It is not true :) I have many same cases, where other reader can read dump correctly.

As an option you can solder GND wire from Spider to A1 pin in Pin Map Scheme 1 for mSD. It should help to block access of CPU to the NAND core. Usually help.

Jerovsek ,
Did you try what roman said ? . Roman i do not think that should work BTW reason it Main Pins are fully connected to NAND VCC then it will never make a difference .

Hi All...

At the "Read Chip ID" stage, I had the same "R/B Fail" error on a SanDisk 2GB mSD (type 4 monolith) - This was my very first attempt at monolith recovery...!!

...I tried what Roman suggested, soldering 0.2mm wire from GND on spider to pin A1.... and it worked!!

Regards Jason
