Good day,
I've this Seagate Rosewood hard drive, it spins up smoothly but does not ID-ed and stays BYS always
Model: ST1000LM035
FW: SBM3
Terminal log
Bad CRC Seg:0x06
LED:0x000000BB FAddr:0x00004A18
Ctrl + Z doesn't work
It will be very much appreciated if anyone here know how to go about it?
Seen SMP flags issue (by Acelab) on Youtube, the terminal error is totally difference from my case.. wondering if this is something I should try?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards

BootFW in ROM is corrupted, could be the result of incorrect unlock patch or perhaps you didn't read or write the full ROM.
Re: Seagate Rosewood Busy Status
Hello,
Doomer is right
Recheck that you selected correct family name 9not F3 common) write back ROM from the backup and re-do patching (in proper family utility) again.
