Good evening everyone, I'm practically new in pc3k and in the forum.
I have a PCI-SSD adapter (2x240gb Raid 0 modules) one of which seems to have gone ko.
I tried to swap it out of slots and it is actually only 1 that is not recognized, the other is online.
How is it possible to carry out an analysis with PC3000 SSD? I believe the interface is proprietary because no adapter in my possession is able to physically connect it.

PC3000 SSD will not help you recover a PCIe drive. PCIe is not supported unless you have the Portable version. I did have one of these RAID 0 SSDs in a few years ago and could not find an adapter at that time anywhere. I suspect nothing has changed. You may need to post this on HDDGuru and see if anyone can share the connector layout if no one here has it.

It's a SandForce-based SATA drives with appropriate interface. There are no PCI-E lines on this drives at all. Adapter to where this SSD were installed might have a bridge, but for recovery need just to image both of SSDs (if they are alive) by SATA adapter and reconstruct the RAID Array.

Unfortunately we never meet such device before so we don't have experience. But you can try to research all lines with the help of logic analyzer, or find someone who can do it on outsource.

Had one of these ACCELSIOR E2 in for recovery last year. Drives where SATA.
Soldered SATA and power directly to the drive, if i remember right, SATA lines where tapped at 4 caps C1,C2,C3 and C4
Both drives where working fine in my case, was a simple stripe set.

I tried the sata connection but although there is 3.3v power supply on the board there is no absorption and the board is not detected .. Did I make some mistakes?
C1, C2, C3, C4 are connected as channels A- A + B- B +, on the power connector I detected 3.3v on the pci card so I applied the same voltage by step-down
test performed with the disk working

I managed to find the pinout, to read the healthy form while the bad one was not detected.
I then removed the bga sanforce and replaced it with that of the working module, it is immediately detected by pc3000 but only the controller and not the memory.
Do I have to give up recovery or is there any other attempt I can make?

Drive is in SAFE MODE - means that translator from NAND chips was not uploaded correctly. Check the NAND contacts. If everything is ok, then the problem is in FW corruption...

I made an extreme attempt, moving all the memory modules from the failed card to the working one. I got the same result, safe mode

You did a Amazing Job ,Few People can actually work on SF controllers Not Acelab ,They say they will not support it as its not widespread ,but thats there opinion .There are many SF controller SSDS Floating Around ,Northwind And One Another Company Can Work On These Devices

We never say that ACELab can not recover Sandforce. We only said, that for now it's impossible to release a SandForce Utility and make the things be as simple as with the other utilities in PC3K SSD, where you need to do a few steps: upload loader, rebuilt translator, and recover data in DE.
SandForce is possible to recover, but it's a very complex job which requires several hours of manual work of a high experienced engineer. 99% of customers can not repeat the same steps because they include: manual FW analysis and translator extraction, block rebuilding and manual image reconstruction. Our TS don't have time to do all this things for every single SF case, while customers can not repeat this actions. So, if someone can provide a SF recovery service - that's great. But I'm doubt that in nearest future there would be a convenient Utility which will be able to do all complex and manual steps in automatic mode - this is the main problem for now.
