Hello,
I have a Toshiba MQ01ACF050 with 1 degraded head. I ordered a donor drive, exact match: MQ01ACF050 AAD AA00/AV001D both made in Philippines, same firmware, same everything... I swapped the heads and the drive just clicks.. I put the heads back into the donor and they are working without an issue.
Wondering if anyone else has successfully ordered parts or replaced heads in this model; any information or tips are really appreciated.
Thank you.

Re: Toshiba MQ01ACF050 Donor Help
If the model and the drive REV are the same (even just the part before the "/") the heads should be a match. How close was the date of manufacture? Usually, it doesn't matter, but it never hurts to use a closer one.
Also, be sure to check for other possible causes of the head stack not being able to move. I've seen stupid stuff such as a loose screw get stuck under the magnet cause a drive to click as if it's bad heads. Sometimes just doing a more thorough inspection will help to isolate the problem.
