LDR for FW 65000U WD Zephyr
Drive is WD5000BPVT-75HXZT3 FW ver 65000U. Downloaded the one that's on the HDDGURU website but am getting an incompatible version message. Does anyone have a different copy? Thanks in advance.

Can you read SA modules from your case? Check some other overlay module for version - sometimes ROM version and Overlay versions can be different (I assume 65000U is ROM version reported in Kernel?)

I'm not sure if it's any different than the HDDGuru one, but you can try this one: https://www.file-medics.com:5001/d/f/420328266044285839

Here's a backup from a 640Gb model with that same ROM revision: https://www.file-medics.com:5001/d/f/420329664697869205

In kernel mode, look at overlay version of ROM as in picture I add here
Re: LDR for FW 65000U WD Zephyr
I checked my database, all entries with 65000U ROM have Overlay F/W version 65.0UE.
One suggestion that could work is to back up patient ROM (always backup first) then write 65000U ROM from one of the resources listed here, then use 65000U loader to get SA access. From here you should be able to get native loader read from surface (hopefully), at the very least back up adaptive modules to reach data in other ways.
What is the original problem with the case you have?

Thanks to all who responded. The second version from Data Medics worked fine. Thanks so much!
