Password Protected Buffalo 2.5' HDD

Good day,

Model: HN-M101MBB

This is a HDD from Buffalo enclosure and it has a broken USB port. According to customer, the HDD is password protected and he has given the password.

We've tried http://blog.acelab.eu.com/pc-3000-d ... crypt.html, but 'invalid password' message showed.

We also tried to swap ROM chip on the controller board to a good one, without avail.
Please advice.
