annoying new feature - log tab switching

The newest version of the p3k software has an annoying feature - that I hope I can turn off.

The log tab grabs focus on every error.

Run surface scan
Previous version: Watch the green and yellow blocks, notice pattern of damage.

Current version:
Each error switches the view to the log tab.
It a constant mouse clicking battle to stay on the readng screen.
I dont need to be switched to the log screen - its clear its getting errors.

Here is a worse consequnce.
Go to View edit hard drive resources.
Read a track with a bad head.
Each error drive switches to log tab.
Normally I could just hit the stop button on the read tab...
But you can't get to the stop button because its constantly forcing you back to the log tab.

GRRRRRR.....

Please tell me there is a way to disable this feature.
