Do I have to create heads map multiple times?

Postby rogaland » 02.02.17, 09:00

I notice that after creating heads map, then for example create a map of used sectors, and copy this chain. Now suddenly "Create submap using legend" is grayed out and not available. I have to create heads map once again before being able to create submap using legend?

Isn't "Create heads map" and operation you do only once per HD? Why do I need to go through this multiple times?

I've encountered this issue a lot (almost daily), since the latest update. It isn't asking you to create a headmap, rather a submap based on heads...it is very annoying, to say the least, when it happens. It is more annoying than the power button disappearing without actually powering the drive off when you click on it within a DE task window.

I've found that the issue of not being able to do submap operations is resolved by simply closing and re-opening the DE task. It's an annoying bug.
