Important WD SA?

Postby Platterpuss » 29.08.16, 18:56

I have an SA error, level B. Can anyone tell me if it needs fixing? Drive runs fine.
I'm just trying to decide if I should use this drive for Imaging.

If the drive is working fine, then I probably wouldn't worry too much about it. Level B modules can be re-written from a donor if needed. I guess the only concern would be the reason why it's bad which could be related to bad sectors developing. I'd just check the S.M.A.R.T. to be sure there are no pending/re-allocated sectors before using it as a destination.
