SSD SanDisk SDSSDXPS-240G

Postby Joeb16 » 10.08.16, 18:10

Hi, we have a SanDisk model SDSSDXPS-240G SSD drive with a Marvel controller chip 88SS9187 with 8 Nand flash chips (SanDisk 15069).
The drive goes into a busy stated when an ID command is sent to it.
Is this drive supported for PC3000 SSD?
Is there a supported solution for this controller chip (and 8 Nand flash chips)?

Hello! This drive is not in support list right now. But starting from PC-3000 Express\UDMA-E 6.2 we will start to support previous model of Sandisk based on Marwell 88SS9174. Hope that your drive will appear in support list during this year.

Does this controller chip have a special XOR pattern or encryption?

This controller AES-128 encryption, chip unsoldering will be useless.
