Start MQ01ABD050 from Head 1

Postby FredW » 10.05.16, 18:09

Hello to all!
Many thanks in advance for your intelligent comments :)
I have a Toshiba MQ01ABD050 with two Heads.
At reading out Harddisk stopped working and got at the OD a concentric circle at Head 0.
I have a hole of 40 million sectors but in this hole there are some more photos from my customer.
Now my question: Do you know is it possible to start this drive from Head 1 instead of 0 so I could read out the last sectors from Hd 1 and maybe some from Head 0?
again many thanks in advance for helpful comments :)
kind regards Freddy

As far as I remember, head0 is top head on these models and I do not think there is any straightforward way to make this boot from something other than h1. Maybe someone else here has some better experience with it, I am not sure :(
