Hi DataMedics,
yes, important is tihs: all sectors have been copied, and all are green. I have activated the "save bad files in the !Problem Folder", but after copy, no files are in this Folder, because all were green. I tried imagecopy from SATA0 To SATA1 and SATA2 to SATA3. Same Problem. The only way is to copy from PC3K to internal SATA port of the Mainboard. Therefore i ask here in the Forum, if no other user detected the same Problem.

Re: Latest DE Express Version: Destination Write Errors
I never connect my destination drives to a PC-3000 channel, so I can't speak on that issue. I feel that I'm more likely to make a mistake and clone the wrong direction if my destination is also on a PC-3000 channel, so I always just SATA connect them.

Well,
Use SATA 0 For Patient and SATA1 For Destination Drive in My UDMA-e Never Cloned a Drive To SATA/IDE Onboard Motherboard Or Via a USB/eSATA Dock ,So Man It all Depends Its a not a Rule Applicable To all

Re: Latest DE Express Version: Destination Write Errors
Yeah, but I use the express card and sometimes I'm cloning four drives at the same time. Much easier to get confused with four channels, so I just stick with SATA (or an image file on my 24TB RAID) for destination and PC-3000 channel for source.

Re: Latest DE Express Version: Destination Write Errors
I've got an Areca ARC-1880i RAID card running 8 4TB HGST SAS drives in a RAID 6. It can handle sequential read/write at over 700Mb/s both ways. So I can be imaging on all four channels to the RAID. For bigger drives I still use a physical drive to keep from congesting my array, but for smaller drives or drives that aren't very full I just use image files now. Saves a ton of time wiping clones.
Re: Latest DE Express Version: Destination Write Errors
As Datamedics says: i do the same - clone to sata or sas motherboard/card. I can then image many drives at same time.
If u use PC3K ports, then you can only image one drive on UDMA and two drives on Express. It was not developed for this.
UDMA is developed to run two drives at same time (both repairing and imaging). Express four drives.
If you get Sector write error on destination, then check the destination drive for bad sectors. Maybe the dest drive has bad sectros (probably) Do you wipe your drives after each clone?
Also as datamedics says.. It can confuse you when imaging on internal PC3K ports.
Thx!

Well,
I Prefer To Work on One Case In My UDMA-e
