Hi all.
I have problem to start this HDD. It has problems with reading as well.
Terminal output shows this:
Starting LBA of RW Request=000000000008785E Length=00000038
ProcessRWError -Read- at LBA 0000000000087860 Sense Code=43110081
Starting LBA of RW Request=0000000000087862 Length=00000034
ProcessRWError -Read- at LBA 0000000000087863 Sense Code=43110081
Starting LBA of RW Request=0000000000087866 Length=00000030
ProcessRWError -Read- at LBA 000000000008786F Sense Code=43110081

Can someone help with this drive, please.

You will notice length field is a timer. When this reaches zero (or close to zero) drive should report ready. You will need to look at relocation parameters at SMP module to address this.

Hello AJ. I think this hdd has a lot of bad sectors. I've found this module. I don't know what is the next step. I have two of them. Both of them I can read and I've saved them to sys folder.

Regards

You need to edit parameters of it with 'edit Saved Mode PAges' option. Or you can select 'Edit HDD ID over terminal' option. This will return to you a window with lots of checkmarks. Remove all or you can choose which aspects of it to disable.

Also, if there are lots of relocated sectors you can assume that surface will have many errors also (like bad sectors).
