WD usb decrypt - the 2 ways

Postby hddr49 » 27.02.15, 17:22

Hi guys,

I'm here with a WD usb drive. Crap...

Until recently I don't have last version of DE, so I couldn't use on the fly decrypt.

During this time, I sucessfully clone most part of th usb drive with a sata board.

So I got drive image... crypted.

Now, I have last version of DE.
Can I decrypt my crypted image with software otf decrypt?

Mount task as drive, something like this ?

I started to clone again with decrypt, but last time it take 3 weeks, due to large amount of errors...

Thanks for help and ideas

I add an info :

original usb PCB seems well working. It is recognised in WD usb utility and I can work with.

ok, there is what I have done :

- copy sector-by-secor image file to another hard drive (WD)
- initiate disk in WD Marvel utility
- create new DE task, check decrypt, use file 25.rpm from original drive to have key.

Now I have access to data (thanks to Maxim from TS)
