Hello,
i have a WD MyBook Studio 3,5" USB HDD (Modell WDC WD2001FASS-00U0B0; MyBook1112) with is encrypted. The option "decryption" in DE brings no result.
Is there other ways to obtain the password?

Im guessing this is from an Oxford based enclosure?

the key is stored in ROM of the enclosure only. At some versions there is a copy on the surface, but for this case it seems only copy is at native enclosure...

Please let us know what type of chip is used on USB bridge of your drive (e.g. Initio, Symway, JMicron etc.)?
If it is Initio or JMicron then the password is required.
