I'm stick with this drive, I need some important modules.

ROM Version : 00000032

Help would be really appreciated

This is quite new model (from GIANT series) and I think few people will have resources, I dont have specifically this version... What symptoms does it have or what problem it has?

After PCB Swap, HDD has 0 Gb capacity and wrong model.

I suspect module 411 which has bad content (bad CS) as there's no other problem. I tried to replace it with a similar (same model but different version), HDD starts, can't calibrates and stops.

Did you find a solution of how to write the FW properly to this serious of drives? i have got similar issues.

No, I couldn't find a donor module with same FW version...

I think you would at least need a loader for this...

I already have its own 11 module, but I can't load it (already loaded in Normal Mode, and reboot after loading it in kernel mode).

Why can you not load it? You should enter kernel mode first, then block SA regions from the ROM options menu, repower and restart the utility, load LDR at family selection window, start utility in Normal mode, enter SPT (2116 was my last case), and loader should load.

SA will not be accessible by ABA but since you have Loader loaded now you can search for SA modules to load them and work with them

If I do that I get in the same state when I power the drive normally. I don't have to look for module, I already have access to module, but I would like to rewrite module 411, the only one not read.

So if you have access to SA normally, and damaged module is 411 (which I believe is not important), what other problems does it have to prevent data access?

I think it is important. If I modify it, HDD clicks and stops at start. It doesn't have any problem in important modules.

Thanks to AJ, I could re-write module 411 from a donor with same 411 version (but with different ROM version) and now HDD works !

So we can conclude that this module is important !
