TOSHIBA CHANGE HEADS - WHAT WE NEED TO MATCH

Hi to all,

i was looking in the Ace Manuals about what i have to match for change heads in Toshiba and i could not find anything.


i have this case :

PATIENT - MK 1646 GSX
DONOR - MK 2552 GSX

Anyone can help me?

I don't think these heads are compatible.

I usually match the full model number, and also the country of manufacture. e.g. ZK01 T

Toshiba drive are very tolerable for head swaps.
Even for different manufacturing countries and different sizes, and even different number of heads I've been sucessefull many times.

Also, some heads can be taken from different families also. I say give this a try and let us know.

but this case i could not do it.

i have change the heads 3 times but no luck, also the client did not go on with the recovery.

Model is very important for head swap .

Can we head of Model MK2555GSXF as donor for MK2555GSX. Country of manufacture on both are Phillipines
