hard disk with following details
Model WD800JD-08LSA0
DCM HSBHNTJCH

pcb is damaged, i replaced u12 chip but its showing following hdd

Model : WDC ROM MODEL-UNICORN--
Serial : WDC-ROM SN# XYZ----
Firmware : 10.01E01
Capacity : 5.79 GB (12 140 353)

i am not sure patient PCB is native.

Any suggestion?

make backup of all data from PCB like ROM, then write ROM from resources similar to your drives details on label like capacity, model etc. Now you should read SA well, read some modules and look for firmware version in header. When you know firmware version try find a match in your database or saved resources with matching code and write its ROM

SA access should be possible with non-native ROM unless head map is configured incorrectly. Other option is to make hotswap to read SA, but all this is assuming there is no other issues such as poor heads or preamp damaged etc.

what' that details info for donor pcb and patient pcb ?( number pcb, number cpu)
donor pcb is working before swapped ?
