How Can I connect the WD10TMVW-11ZSMS1 USB drive to PC-3000 through SATA port?

is there any way instead of replacing the board?
i've seen someone doing this by soldering special points on the PCB to SATA connector.
it seems that SATA pins are located somewhere on the PCB!
