iam looking for LDR loader..

Iam looking for LDR Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 120Gbytes, S/N :5M806H0C, Config : C4Q - 03, FW: 3.42 , Date Code : 05253 Site Code : WU

This is the terminal log file..
Interface task reset 4096k x 16 buffer detected PUMA - 1_Disk M-22d 11-11-04 10:47 Buzz - Head Mask FFFF - Switch to full int. Spin Ready 3.42 01-04-05 12:57 (P)(H)SATA Reset
3.42 is firmware


Do anybody have the loader for this Drive please?

there is nothing wrong with terminal log, looks normal. What problem do you have?

(THE ORIGINAL PCB DOES NOT POWER THER DRIVE!!!!)

i bilieve that PCB is bad because it doesnt start working...
But when i plugged another (Donor PCB) the HDD have power and moving..

what to do?

Did you take over native ROM chip to donor PCB?

If after terminal output you get no further prompt, or cannot reach T>, then is because of contaminated or failed heads.

i change the whole PCB from donor drive ...but nothing happened... so...what is the native ROM ??? there is not the whole PCB?? i must to resolder chips from PCBoard?

I guess you are new to DR :mrgreen:

All disk drives have some unique information onboard PCB, sometimes it is embedded into larger chips such as the main processor, othertimes it is an external chip that can be transferred to a similar PCB to maintain adaptive information and allow the old drive to operate with new board.

Post a photo of your board here, or if you are not comfortable with soldering outsource it. In some cases for this model you can get away with a direct swap with no transfer of ROM, but this is dependant on ROM information being relatively similar and of same ROM revision. For your case it seems this is not the same.
