I have h.d.d segate 320gb that when I tested it with pc3000, it made the current massage
' hdd does not support set max lba'
how I can deal with this?

it's not a problem at all . you will face this in almost hard drives . pass that and look for the real problems.

Often you see this message and still can get LBA access.

From info you gave its not enough to identify a solution because I see no problem.

what is the behaviour of the disk? Did you try to read LBA? Does it take a long time to reach DRDY?

the complete error was this:
h.d.d does not support set max lba
and
h.d.d does not support s.m.a.r.t
I dont know how I can continue this part of recovery and what is the solution!!?
every thing aboat this hard drive was good.
at first it was not detect and then we had those messages.

connect the seagate terminal and enter the hdd model from utility.
use ctrl+Z key. so you can see this:
f3 T>
type: /1
press Enter
so you can see f3 1>
type: N1
Press enter
this comment will clear the S.M.A.R.T
if the terminal in not responding that means you have another problem.

It can be caused translator problem.
Try to regenerate translator.

You should not regen translator like this without checking for entries in non resident list.
