Just went through all my old saved 3.5" MyBook bridges, and don't have a jmicron.
I'm guessing this is more common on modern mybooks?
Anyone know what model to buy or a way to know it's a jmicron jms538s encryption chip before disassembly / ordering?
Update: Seems like it is common in the newer ones. Triangular pcb. USB3.

Symwave also use USB3. Initio use USB2. Maybe 100% identical part number to a MyBook with known Jmicron bridge may help.
