Hi there
I work on a Seagate/Maxtor STM3320614AS
PC3K recognise it at STM3320613AS
At the beginning, I save Hdd resources (indicates error on heads 4-5-6-7 but drive had only 0-1-2-3 heads)
I access the data in DE, begin to save it (with many abr, low speed access)
suddenly after 86 GB saved, disk turn off
since, disk remains busy.
I try the method to unlock in terminal, but I had nothing in terminal :
pcb only, terminal connector, in terminal, CTRL+Z = nothing happens, don't see F3>
May I swap pcb ? no need for chip unsoldering, because I have hdd resources...
What should I look for PCB compatibility ? P/N ? Firmware ? Site code ? other ?
thanks.

Check terminal output and post here before you try anything else. It is important to get the diagnosis right to prevent further problems
Re: STM3320614AS remains busy after partiial recovery
like i said, there is nothing in the terminal output.
During data recover, I have something like
"file.... recovered"
"switch off power"
"switch on power"
"timeout 2500 ms"
and nothing more.

Re: STM3320614AS remains busy after partiial recovery
This is not F3, you need use old utility with baud rate at 9600
Re: STM3320614AS remains busy after partiial recovery
Thanks for help.
Are you sure this is not F3?
On labels I see
DiamondMax 22
3.5 series 7200.11
F3 series begin with 7200.11 in PC3K...
I try old utility, but I don't see this model. I try with approching one, but terminal output is always empty.

Re: STM3320614AS remains busy after partiial recovery
You are right, it is F3.
You need to check terminal tab on power on, in previous post you wrote log, I need to see terminal

Re: STM3320614AS remains busy after partiial recovery
Unfortunatly, there is no terminal output.
Really, nothing.
I plug another disk (Seagate 7200.12) to see if it works well, and it does
terminal output for the other disk :

Re: STM3320614AS remains busy after partiial recovery
I come back to this case, with new facts.
So, I try to swap PCB (100504364 REV B).
I take same PCB (I found one from STM3320614AS and one from ST332063AS)
Unsoldering with temperature-controlled desodlering / Reworking station
I use Hot Air Gun at 300°C
I put the rom on the STM PCB.
When I plug the disk and power on, I have DWF & CRR on red.
And, nothing on terminal either.
Only with PCB, no disk, I have DRD + DSC green, no terminal output.
What do you think of this ?
- Is rom out of order ?
- May I try the rom on the ST PCB ?
- Is my soldering bad ?
I for sure continue to try by myself, but if you have any idea, it would be great.
Thanks !
Precisions :
with donnor from ST, PCB only, DRD + DSC ok, Model ST_M13FQBL Serial QNR_BFW Firmware 1117F38D Capa 3.86 GB, no terminal output
With PCB on disk, DRD + DSC, copying data right now.
