Hi
I need a simple script to configure in an UDMA task as an action when a bad sector is encontered.
It needs to do the following:
1) power off hdd
2) wait for 1 second
3) power on hdd
4) wait for 60 seconds
5) continue reading data
Does any one knows the script coding to do that?
Thank you in advance!

Need a simple script for Data Extractor (loss of readiness)

Hi!
There is no need for a script here.
Just change the parameters: Go to "Loss of readiness" enter the values you need (e.g. waiting for readiness after power ON 60000) and only tick "Turn off/on drive's power".
Then change to "HDD power supply" tab and enter 1000ms. That's it.
Albeit: when the drive is ready before 60 seconds it continues reading. Would that be a problem?
Good luck!

I already tried that and setting the waiting for readiness after power on won´t work.
That´s because it´s an USB hdd connected via an USB -> IDE adapter
So after power off/on the adapter report readiness automatically (DRD + DSC) but the USB hdd itself is not ready yet.
It needs the 60 seconds that I have to program in the script.
It should be something very simple like:
Active.Utility.Power.Off
Wait 1000
Active.Utility.Power.On
Wait 60000
But unfortunatelly Ace has no documentation on issuing script commands to the UDMA card.
