Hi all,

Did any of you see problem like that on a WD HDD, and how i can be solve?
All Modules are good, all Heads are good, but the first 383'000'000 produce many read errors on all heads. But from 383'000'000 till the end (976'773'167) i could read all sectors normaly...

You can try regenerate Translator

I try it, befor i write in this forum, but no access to the most of first 383'000'000 sectors.

Reply is to late, but for anyone having same problem : This is a WD Tornado family with classic Tornado issue. Put a new PCB on it , write original ROM or recreate ROM from SA and u got it =)
