After stop spindle and get ready, i remove the pincer from contact, but the HD dont spinup.

Here is the log:

HDD power supply switching OFF/ON...
Spin Up...
Error HDD spinning up by terminal!
Error : Terminal : reply timeout error

WARNING! It`s probably HDD have "HDD Lock (LED: 000000CC)" problem

Try the command: Solution for problem "HDD Lock (LED: 000000CC)"
From menu: Tests -> Solutions

Drive not ready

Any ideas, how to resolve the problem?
Thanks

ST9500420AS hard drive belongs to Momentus 7200.4 SATA family. I have an idea to complete the steps manually, that will show us if that hard drive has
problems with recalibration.

You need to go to terminal tab within Seagate F3 utility and press ctrl-z. F3 T> prompt has to appear within terminal tab.

To spin up the drive you need to perform next commands:

T>/2
2>U
After this step you could see if this drive can spin up or if there is an error related to that.

F3 T>/2

F3 2>U

DiagError 0000600B

What happens after this error was displayed? did the drive go to BSY ? or still DRD DSC?

If this hard drive cannot spin its spindle motor up there could be several reasons.
First reason could be connected with hard drive logic board. Spindle motor chip stopped working and hard drive cannot spinup.
Its possible to check it with. If you will see another error after logic board was swapped, please post it here.

Second reason is much worse, hard drive has problems with bearing. In situation you have to find a same model donor drive and transfer platters.
Platters transfer is pretty difficult process, its a good idea to practice on not important drives and figure out how did it work.

Thanks anyway for help.
