WD800AAJS-xxM0xx belongs to Pinnacle family. I advise you to download database file with "pinnacle.pcr" name from your update box . Then import it to your database.

Hi Roustam

Actually this model autodetects as Pinclite family and not Pinnacle

I just downloaded the latest Pinclite.pcr and there seems to be none from the same family

So, if someone that reads this message have firmware for WD WD800AAJS-xxM0xx f(amily M0) I am still looking for it

Thank you

I have no xxM0xx for Pinclite, closest I have is 00500F9 from 320GB xxL7xx model.

Can you read Sa modules by ID when you start task? I remember a process in new Marvel manual where alternate modules are written to donor, translator rebuilt and required #11 is made on donor.

Sorry, dont remember the process clearly but hope it helps.

Hi,

You're right, there's a new method, but Acelab has a new manual for it, you can download from your update box.

Anyway, what's the problem of your drive?

Hi AJ2008 and databalance
First of all thank you for your interest! :P

Yes, I have read the new WD marvel manual and I am aware of the new #11 method

This hdd detects with wrong ID and capacity (please check screenshot from my previous post above)

Is has the following bad modules (only listed bad modules of importance A, B, C. bad modules of importance D and E were ignored from this list):

Bad modules:
------------
0032 - Ad
0002 - B
0021 - B
0022 - B
0024 - B
0038 - B
006F - B

I think s.m.a.r.t. data will not be a problem to fix, but specially beacuse of bad module 0032(Ad) I would prefer to have the closest donor possible - preferably same FW version

As this customer can wait for some more time, I am going to wait a little more and see if I can find the closest match possible

If I don't find it, I will try a manual fix and I will post my results here

Thank you again!

Module 32 is not important. It contains list of pending sectors ready for relocation. Ad status is not correct.

You can simply replace this with any #32 from any model, and after regen translator will be fine. No need for matching fw here.

That's right...
You don't need to bother much about it.
