Marvell Hotswap - which modules?

Postby ft1bh » 08.02.10, 18:27

Hi all,

If I want to do a hotswap to image user data, which modules need to be copied from the original drive to the donor drive?
(WD10EADS-00L5B1).
So far I have tried 31, 32 and 36 but when I try to access user data the original drive just clicks. All heads are fine (at least tested within KERMIT utility).
Orinially the drive was spinning up, no clicking but no recognition, no SA access. SA access only via hotswap. I managed to get most of the modules but there seem to be a lot of damaged modules.
Any help appreciated!

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

What are the modules that are damaged and can't be read?

Have you tried head map changing in RAM on this one?

Try to load a LDR before SA access.
