Hello,

I have WD10EAVS-32D7B1 able to read all of its modules & ROM, In initial structure test Mod 24 copy 0 & 2D copy 0 were bad so I replaced with copy 1 now structure test is ok all of its modules are ok but unable to read data did regenerate translator but same result.

Can someone help ?

Change head map from 2,3,4,5,6,7 to 2,2,2,2,2,2 (or change head quantity / starting head has required) then perform soft reset. If now you restart utility and can view data via Sector Edit option, then one head is damaged. In this case you will need identify damaged head and perform HotSwap/Head Map modification to allow for data access.

This is a Kermit and utility does not support RAM reading/writing for this family, so RAM head map changing will not work...

I am not sure you are correct. I have done this with many Kermit families in the past...

yes, I was wrong.
At least partially. The version I had installed could not deal with ram indeed. But the latest available version is fine and working.
My comment was based on the facts I experienced.
