Postby hassan » 28.01.10, 11:59

Hello
I have Laci lan storage it's include one hard drive 500GB
the used space for data about 250GB,
suddenly can not be access by LAN then switch power off on it's appeared again but
it have only 20GB of data and the 230GB was disappeared
I try the following:
1: conect the drive to another Laci box but it is the same
2: check if the hdd have a bad sectors but no bad sectors
3: conect the drive into Data Extractor but
can not open the partition the DE detect it
as EX 2,3 but show me error in supper block
4: try useing "UFS Explorer v3.9.1" show me
only he 20GB which they found by lasi box
also detect the partition as XFS file system

How can i get the remain 230GB of data?

For XFS I tend to use Raise for XFS. Generally gives good results. Might be worth running a complete scan here assuming it is indeed XFS.

I agree with AJ, best thing is to do a complete scan.
