I think the problem is not linked to bad sectors in SA. I have seen this problem in some ZEUS hotswaps and some Tornado HotSwaps. To get around this you either need to start the HDD from a LDR, this usually works for me assuming the LDR used is compatible, try using mod 11 from patient or donor resources. Alternatively view the individual modules themselves through 'hdd resources view and edit', copy and paste the contents of patient module into here and write to HDD. This will work, but is a bit of a nuisance as you need to do this for each individual module.

I do not know of another way sorry.

I can confirm using loader will let you write mods to donor. I think you can use the 'donor' mods as the loader. If that doesn't work use 'patient' mods as loader. I did 2 ZEUS hotswpas the other week so I know it works.

Get other ZEUS disk with head 0 and 5 BAD

and use my donor disk with a loader and i can make it.
