Hi Ace;
We are going to buy some new system to upgrade our current PC infrastructure.
With regards to the future cards that will be released, will it still have the PCI interface or will it become PCIe or PCIe 2.0 ?
Thanks,
Dobre

I'm not in the know as we say BUT I would say unless China finds a way to crack the card Acelab will not update for some time. If they start earning less money you may expect an updated card :O) Just business

Re: Future interface specs of the UDMA cards ?
I asked the same question to Katarina a few days ago.
Her reply was:
"Right now we are not going to reshape our production from UDMA standards to anything else. 2 weeks ago we released PC-3000 Portable, so I am sure in the nearest time we will not produce any new products"
So I think this means "stick with motherboards that have good old pci slot"

Re: Future interface specs of the UDMA cards ?
Indeed, we conduct the research works on PCI-E.
Right now the current version of PC-3000 UDMA is a sophisticated product and it is very popular worldwide. Our customers find it very useful, so instead of releasing the new product we make frequent updates for UDMA version. So, we do not plan to launch that product in the foreseeable future.

Hello Sales,
Are ACELAB working a a new UDMA with PCI-E slot ?
That slots are almost finish and the supplier will soon not make motherboards with PCI slot.
Waiting for a reply,

Re: Future interface specs of the UDMA cards ?
Hello ZeBong,
Current version is designed for common PCI slot but in future we of course plan to use PCI-E slots.
