Hi,
i have this disk that the PCB had a NV-ram corrupeted.
So i found i donor PCB with the same two lines and change it.
Now i can not get ID off the disk.
And i can make a SA Structure Test.
I try also a nv-ram adjustement, it work reading the nv-ram from the sa but when i save the NV-ram from adjustemtn i can not get the ID off the disk...
So what i am doing wrong where ?

Re: Hitachi AAVA NV-Ram rebuild
You may be doing everything OK, but possibly there could be some SA damage. Do any modules have any apparent damage? Also, after NVRAM adjustment can sector edit be launched?
Re: Hitachi AAVA NV-Ram rebuild
I don't think your problem is related with NV-RAM, but with some open modules damaged.
By the way, when you replace PCB, have you replaced NV-RAM as well to the new PCB ?

Re: Hitachi AAVA NV-Ram rebuild
The problem is the NV-ram,
This is the original PCB that i have used in other disk and saved the nv-ram to this PCB.
I don't need the data just to understand how it works the nv-ram adjustment.
or try to save the nv-ram from the modules.
Thanks
