I found here a PDF file on Seagate low level diagonistic commands that I download to my computer. It might help you to explain some of the low level commands and what they are used for and how to use them. It is a 45 page set of commans. I hope that you can find it if not email me and I will send you a copy.

Hope that will help you to understand the commands and what they mean.

if you need data... then the next analysis next to perform Head swap as well..
If you perform any of Low level Command. I', affaraid it will damage DATA area and make DR impossible,

Have you already swapped heads?

It might not be damaged heads, but a damaged module.

Hi Friends,
Yes,I already swapped the heads and confirmed the heads are ok,also the PCB is ok,all of them works perfect on donor drive. That means some critical modules damaged in SA area.unfortunately the client already took the drive back because the case been a long time ago.I cannot try it any more.thanks for all your guy's help.

I have only recieved a few GALILEO drives, but all have had serious faults with SA. Not a huge fan of these....
