I saw a new procedure on HDDGuru developed by a Russian scientist for repairing this drive. You might want to go there and search for it and try it and see if it works. Many people says that it has worked for them. Not sure if it is the same type of case as yours but you can look it up and see if this will help you

Instead of referring to HDDGURU, why not post the same info here?
I know the post you are referring to and is a solution for SA repair of 7200.11 and ES2 with unsuported FW versions, such as HP12. It is not clear here what the problem is. It could be that the disks SA area has defects, maybe it has slow access time and causes utility to time out instead of wait for successful repair.
If this is because of unsupported FW, then the solution mentioned in hddguru has never worked for me (only tried twice), and there is a chance of frying the native PCB. there are other methods which do work, but before anything is suggested it would be useful to get more info on the 7200.11 mentioned here, such as FW.
