Are you an idea if it's a manufactured hole or not?

Thanks

Hello d.rob,

I perfectly see two scratches on the platter. So what is the history of that disk:
- was it in use or not?
- did you run this drive before open?
- and why do you tell that it is so strange?
Awaiting for reply.

Regards.

Another (in)famous 3.CAE from apple :|
This 'strange' hole is in fact deep circular scratch caused by damaged head.
This is (nearly) impossible to recover.

EDIT:Sorry for reviving old post, but how come it showed up to me as 'new post' ?
