HOT SWAP THE PLATTE IN SAMSUNG

Hello,

I have a disk Samsung that the MOTOR was OFF.

Patient Samsung 60GB
(change platte + Head + PCB )

Donnor Samsung 80GB

Have change the platte + head + PCB off Samsung 60Gb to the 80Gb.

The 80Gb have the same speed motor.

But now whem i give power to the disk, the head goes in the platte them came back and the platte rotation stop.


What is this problem?

This error

the head goes in the platte them came back and the platte rotation stop.

could be caused by ROM and Overlay.
So you need to resolder ROM from patient to donor.
Also it can be uncorrect Swap of the platte.
And one more: it can be uncorrect Swap of the Heads.

So please send/publish terminal report

The PCB is from the patitent.
Head is from the patient.
The platte is from the patient.

When i gove power, it dont detect the disk.

I put MANUAL the family PALO



Can i use the head off the DONNOR that is from 80Gbytes.

I check again the platte clean it, but i can not see anything marked in the platte.

Change Head´s twice.

What can i do more ?

I test Head´s and head 0 is OK but head 1 is with error



Is possible to change heads, and just work with head 0.

1. You need to make Head test and select to make Write process
2. Phisical scan select only read.
