Hi ACE-LAB Engeneers.
I have a Samsung HD501LJ SATA hd. This drive is clicking very fast, and the BSY lights. The drive came not in ready status.
In the UserManual i dont found, how connecting this SATA-HD to TERMINAL.
So i experience with div. combinations.
One combination is interesting:
Situation place the HD with PCP upside on table. So the Power connector is right. Left of the Power ist signal connector, and you can see left of the signal connector 8 pins. When i place a jumper to the left upper an d lower pin, and connect the PC-USB terminal with PC-SEAGATE connector to the other 6 pins (like PATA), the HD dont spinup, but the util recognice the correct MODEL, SERIAL, FIRMWARE and CAPACITY.
After start the util, it displays tis log:
Family selected: T166(S)(SATA)
Model................................... : HD501LJ
Technological ID
Flash version........................... :
Heads number............................ : 0
SA SPT.................................. : 0
Modules table used by default
Service Area
Drive is not ready
Utility initialization was terminate!
Is there a correct way to connecting to TERMINAL?[/img]
