Toshiba G-List problems

Hi,

I have 2 toshiba drives, one GAP and other GAX where I can't read G-List so I get errors in almost every sectors.
How can I fix this?

Hi,

There is not enough info according these drives.
At least its necessary to know do these drives give passport and in ready mode or not?
Also you may read G-List using even PC-3000 PCI or which error do you get at reading?

The drive enter ready mode, but when entering utility doesn't show like normally the number of errors on G-List.
When I try to erase G-List gives error ABR.

Hi,

It could be either problem with PCB or HDA.
In this case you may swap PCB from same model donor drive(with resolder ROM or Microprocessor) and see what do you get.

Also you did not say if HDD reads passport or not and which exact model of HDD do you have?

i've got 2 questions
is erase g-list same of clear glist?
if not where can i find clear g-list in the utility for 61gsyn family.
does toshiba need terminal? i remember it doesn't but the DE ask for it, if the answer is yes what should i use the seagate or samsung?
