This is from the inside of a Lexar Pro Class 3 32GB SD card. Markings on the Memory Chips are "5QD22 NW553". There are no other markings on the internals.

Markings on the back of the SD card are

P38C2904C1
31531-C10-32GBBM
3185B
made in korea

Thanks!

Hello! Controller is hidden, but if it is Lexar - mostly probable it is SM2702 or SM2685.

Thank you Roman! I was able to get a full dump from the chips, and I found a workable solution from the global solutions center. 100% of the data recovered!

I don't need them :) I can say what type of controller inside if just will look at dump structure ;)

Here is a small guide for you:

Also, if for some reason controller is hidden, I can recommend Flash Info software - free tool for detecting NAND and controller parameters.

I have a similar Lexar card, which is used by the photography community. I do not have the card reader adapter for Flash, so I stuck it into my ThinkPad's card reader and Windows comes up with a message that the card is not formatted and asks me if I want to format the card.

I am on the waiting list for the card reader adapter and I would like to know if the adapter would have treated the card and response differently - can you comment on this please - I have no idea when the card reader adapters will be available again?

Second question; does anyone have the card reader adapter who wants to sell it to me?

Hello.

I can recommend you a Spider Board Adapter, because it would universal adapter for different type of monolith. Spider Board can work in Card Adapter mode - you just arrange all needles on SD card state interface (9 pins), and read it like you read through Card Adapter :)

You just set needles on default SD or mSD pins and creating a new task in Flash, where the SOURCE should be CARD ADAPTER. This option will appear if Spider Board is plugged to PC-3000 Flash.

VDD = VCC = Power supply.

Anyway, We strongly recommend to solder PWR and GND wire to state interface, and do not set needles on POWER and GND. So, just set VDD to unused needle.
