It's a new generation of Kingston SSD based on Phison S10 controller if I remember. We already continue our developing in this type of CPU, and soon we will add a lot of Phison based SSD. The good thing is that Phison based SSD are very stable and it's not easy to kill them :)

Yes, it's true - Kingston UV300 contain TLC NAND which have bad quality. But controller PS is very good - it can make a lot of additional optimization with data, and reduce wearing of the NAND cells.

Hope that during next 3-6 month. New Utility will include a wide support of Phison based drives, that's why developers need more time before they will release it.

Hi Roman,

When SSD equipped with TLC are bad, is it a good idea to put them in a fridge to slow down the rate at which the memory disappears, until you guys come up with a solution ?
I suppose the hotter the chips are stored, the quicker they lose their contents ?

Hello Marc. Don't worry about that - information on this SSD will stood safty for several years. We found problem with cells charge floating only in Samsung 840 EVO :) - It was one of the first massive TLC-based SSD with problems.
